Working together
Key Partnerships
A handful of organisations are central to everything we do. These are the partners helping Gym Possible make accessible exercise possible, and grow.

Key partnership
The Matt Hampson Foundation
The Matt Hampson Foundation has been a long-term partner of Gym Possible and a huge help. Their support has made a real difference to what we are able to offer disabled people across the North East.
Their "Get Busy Living" spirit chimes with everything we do. It shapes how we welcome people, how we support one another and how we help disabled people build confidence, independence and community through exercise.
We are proud, and endlessly grateful, to call them a partner and friend of the charity.

Blue Star Rowing
Blue Star Rowing are taking on the world's toughest row, 3,000 miles across the Atlantic in December 2026, and have chosen Gym Possible as their primary charity to support.
The money and awareness they raise will help Gym Possible keep growing, combining accessible exercise with physiotherapy, counselling and a welcoming cafe, so disabled athletes can train for greater independence while building social connection and mental wellbeing.

Tumble Gymnastics
Tumble Gymnastics and Activity Centre, in partnership with Craig Heap, gave Gym Possible a home when we needed one. That base helped springboard us into the charity we are today, now running two dedicated accessible gyms across the North East.
Our Benton site still sits within Tumble, and the partnership remains central to how we reach and support our members.

Spinal Injuries Association
Gym Possible is proud to be an official Trusted Partner of the Spinal Injuries Association (SIA), the UK's leading national charity for people affected by spinal cord injury. The SIA provides expert advice, advocacy, clinical support and connections to specialist services across the whole of life after injury.
The SIA chooses its Trusted Partners carefully, for their skills, knowledge and understanding of spinal cord injury. Partners go through due diligence and commit to the SIA's values, along with ongoing training, reviews and feedback, so the spinal cord injury community can rely on a consistently high standard of support.
For us, being an SIA Trusted Partner reflects our commitment to a welcoming, accessible and knowledgeable place where people with spinal cord injuries can exercise, build their fitness and be part of a supportive community. Together with the SIA, we are helping more people access the opportunities and support they need to live active, fulfilling lives.
